How can you get a good blacklight pic with a digital camera

just cant get a good picture of the intensity of the black light figures with a digital camera. tried covering the flash, tried longer exposer (blurred) but cant get how cool stuff looks in blacklight. here's the best I could get.

A tripod would be best but if you don't have one, find something you can put the camera on and use the timer function to take the pic (so you aren't touching the camera). Play around with the exposure until you find something that works (and definitely turn off the flash).

I just wish they'd show up as bright as in person. that glow in the dark Eva is like a light when you see it.

If your digicam has modes, set it to night-scene...and use a tripod and enable the timer for the pic
